Showing up as DJ ANÛRA, I learned to DJ while living on an island in Thailand during the global pandemic. I curates live music sets for Ecstatic Dance, Cacao Ceremonies, and Five Elements Dance Activation, as well as private events. My music and style of curation blend rhythms and prayers from the transcontinental lands and indigenous people with whom I’m connected, lived, trained, and dwelled.  

I draw inspiration for deep organic beats from the desert of Burning Man to merge with Icaros from the Amazon while sprinkling in some deep and low East Coast Bass from my formative years in Virginia.

I am slowly gaining the confidence to begin recording her flute music and curiously dipping my feet into producing.
