TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Non-Refundable Deposits

  1. Deposit Requirement
    To secure your reservation or booking, a non-refundable deposit is required at the time of confirmation. This deposit confirms your commitment and guarantees your spot for the specified service or event.

  2. Non-Refundable Nature of Deposit
    All deposits are strictly non-refundable. By submitting the deposit, you acknowledge and agree that the amount paid is not subject to refund under any circumstances, including but not limited to:

    • Change of mind

    • Scheduling conflicts

    • Personal emergencies

    • Any other reason that might prevent your participation or use of the service

  3. Transfer of Deposit
    In certain cases, deposits may be transferable to another person or rescheduled to another date, provided sufficient notice is given, and the availability of such transfers is confirmed. This is subject to the sole discretion of the service provider, and additional fees may apply.

  4. Cancellation Policy
    If you need to cancel your reservation or booking, please notify us as soon as possible. While the deposit is non-refundable, we may offer rescheduling options or apply the deposit towards future services at our discretion.

  5. Force Major
    In the event of cancellation due to circumstances beyond the control of either party (such as natural disasters, governmental restrictions, or other force major events), the non-refundable deposit may be retained but efforts will be made to reschedule the service or event without additional costs to you.

  6. Amendments to These Terms
    We reserve the right to amend or update these terms at any time. Changes will be communicated and will apply only to future bookings.

  7. Agreement
    By paying the deposit, you agree to these terms and conditions, acknowledging the non-refundable nature of the deposit and understanding the conditions under which it may be transferred or rescheduled.

  8. Exception

    The deposit will be refunded if the application/health intake form is not accepted.

2. Remaining Balance for Retreats

The remaining balance for retreats must be paid in full to Guided by Anura 1 month prior to the retreat start date.

  • If the balance is not received by this deadline, your place may be offered to someone on the waiting list, and you will forfeit the deposit.

3. Payment Responsibilities

The final payment received by Guided by Anura must reflect the exact retreat fee.

  • You are responsible for any additional fees (e.g., bank transfer fees, currency exchange fees).

  • For payments from a US account, Venmo or PayPal typically do not incur fees.

  • For payments from non-US accounts, alternative payment methods such as Wise may be necessary. We will collaborate to determine the best transfer option.

4. Health and Liability

Guided by Anura and all associated organizers, facilitators, venue owners, and management are not responsible for any personal injury, illness, or loss during the retreat, 1-on-1 session, or small group ceremony.

  • We recommend that you come prepared with your own health and/or travel insurance.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

1. Retreat Cancellation by Participant

If you cancel your participation in a retreat for any reason, the refund policy is as follows:

  • Cancellations made 14 days or more prior to the start date will receive a refund of all moneys paid, minus the $500 deposit.

  • Cancellations made within 1-14 days of the retreat start date will not be eligible for a refund. However, all moneys paid (excluding the deposit) may be applied to a future retreat within two years.

2. Cancellation by Guided by Anura

In the unlikely event that a retreat, 1-on-1 session, or small group ceremony is canceled by Guided by Anura, your full payment including the deposit will be refunded, minus an administrative fee of USD $100.

3. Other Expenses

Please note, this refund policy pertains only to the cost of the actual event.

  • Arrangements for accommodations, flights, travel documentation (e.g., visas, passports), COVID tests, etc., are the sole responsibility of the participant. Guided by Anura is not liable for any losses or costs related to travel or accommodation.
