Earth and Plant Spirit Ceremonies, Retreats, and Integration

Western and Indigenous trained.

Trauma-informed and trained in Psychedelic Harm Reduction.

Served with integrity, cultural respect, and ‘Ayni’, sacred reciprocity.

Indigenous cultures around the globe live in harmony with nature, understanding and respecting that everything is alive. Most tribes and communities of ancient wisdom carriers believe plants and animals have sacred spirits which exist well beyond (and below) their physical components.

When we open to experiencing their structural compounds of consciousness and wisdom, we are able to unlock and rewire our mind, body, and spirit, so we may also live more harmoniously in all our relations.

I’ve been lucky enough to travel all over the world (65 countries) listening to and learning from indigenous people's in each continent. (And the penguins of Antarctica!)

Since 2011, I’ve been studying with and learning from indigenous cultures of Central + South America,

primarily the Matses of the Peruvian Amazon, Q’ero of the Peruvian Andes Mountains, and Yawanawa of the Brazilian Amazon.

Read more below to learn about the medicines I serve:

Kambo, Rapeh, Sananga, Cacao, Psilocybin, and Ayahuasca (as a retreat coordinator) in partnership with a medicine family in Peru.

In addition to serving the medicines, I offer integration support to bring the teachings of the medicine into our daily lives.

This is often more important than the ceremony itself, where true transformation unfolds, and where the change we are seeking comes to life.

Possible Targets + Approaches:

  • Non-purgative

  • Purgative

  • Auto-Immune Condition Specified Protocols

  • Meridian points for organ focus

  • Chakras for Psycho-Spiritual/Emotional Support and Balancing

  • Removal of Empathic Accumulation of Energies

Kambô

{Frog Medicine}

Kambo is a traditional frog ‘medicine’ used by many of the tribes of the Amazon Rainforest, particularly in Peru and Brazil. It is a secretion collected from the Phyllomedusa Bicolor or Giant Monkey Frog. It’s traditionally used to increase the senses for hunting and give immunity to jungle-born diseases.

In recent years, it’s become increasingly popular in more populated and developed locations for those seeking to explore possible alternative treatment for conditions such as anxiety, depression, addiction, gut imbalances, parasites, infections, autoimmune diseases, cancer, tumors, migraines, traumas, chronic pain, and chronic fatigue, among many others.

There is also a long and hard, but steadily improving battle for legality*** as psilocybin-containing mushrooms are still considered a Schedule 1 drug throughout most of the world, (which makes them illegal to produce, possess or use.)

***Laws are rapidly evolving as ongoing studies and clinical trials are performed to help demonstrate the effectiveness of psilocybin mushrooms. There is a growing “decriminalize nature” movement all over the world.

Within the last 12 months, both Oregon and Washington, D.C. decriminalized the use of magic mushrooms.

Psilocybin Mushrooms

{Psychedelic Assisted Transformation}

Psilocybin is a naturally occurring psychedelic substance that can be found in a variety of different mushrooms, usually talked about as “magic mushrooms.” Psilocybin is known to possess a spectrum of psychoactive properties and has remained a part of medicinal and shamanistic culture around the world for thousands of years.

Recently, Psilocybin is gaining more recognition for its’ potential in assisting and improving mental health in individuals suffering from anxiety, depression, addiction, ptsd, and trauma.

I’m passionate about helping people rewire their habits to live with flow, ease, creativity, and inspiration through the assistance of our fungi teachers.

Rapéh

{Shamanic Snuff}

In many indigenous cultures, tobacco is considered a “Master Teacher Plant.” Tobacco ‘snuff’ is a sacred shamanic tool that has been used by tribes of the Amazon basin for thousands of years and is an essential part of their tribal culture and history.

Rapéh is the name for one of these snuffs, and its origins lie with indigenous tribes in Brazil.

Traditionally, it is blown through a pipe up both nostrils and offers many benefits such as balancing the hemispheres of the brain, clears mental fog, silences mind chatter, and depending on the blend, can target imbalances with skin, digestion, creativity, and focus.

Sananga

{The Fire Healer}

Sananga is an extract made from the roots and bark of the Tabernaemontana undulata shrub in the Amazon Basin.

Administered in the form of eye drops, they have the potential to bring up and clear many mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual blockages.

They are beneficial for moving stagnant energy, strengthening intuition, and bringing peace + focus to the mind.

Additionally, they can be used to treat ocular diseases.

Traditionally, tribes like the Matsés use Sananga as a hunting tool to obtain a sharp perception and concentration and to enable the detection of subtle movements in the dark jungle.

Why_Should_You_Try_a_Cacao_Ceremony.jpg

Theobroma Cacao

{Food of the Gods}

Cacao is ancient Mayan chocolate, native to the tropical regions of Central/South America. Theobroma Cacao, (Latin for ‘Food of the Gods’) contains powerful nutritional components and offers a sustained boost of energy, lasting several hours, without the crash associated with other stimulating beverages/foods. Ceremonial grade cacao has no preservatives and no additives. When drunk in a sacred setting with intention, it enhances focus and concentration while facilitating a heart-opening connection with creativity and productivity.

Each Ceremony includes follow-up integration support.

It’s also possible to prepare the psyche and the soma before the ceremony.

Create a complete three-part package by adding a Chi Nei Tsang session to preliminarily unblock any stagnant Chi held within the organs.

“As a healer and server of the sacred Kambo medicine, I can’t recommend her highly enough. Anura holds a sacred space with much integrity, care and respect.

I felt deeply nurtured and safe in her presence, and touched by her compassion and strength.”

— Atira Tan, TED Speaker, #1 Best Selling Author, and CEO of Art to Healing

“Kambo was a massive reset for me. I never quite understood why anyone would want to subject themselves to such an uncomfortable experience until I finally said Yes.  I needed help to shift some heavy lingering and toxic stuck-feeling energy,  and after the experience with Anura, I felt incredibly light and clear. For the next few days, I was immediately on my mat meditating first thing in the morning and anything that wasn't in full service to my highest self seems to quickly dissipate from my life.

Kambo helped me the deep release I needed and I'm so grateful for the reprieve and reset.”

— Francie Fishman, Flow Coach, Yoga Teacher + Retreat Coordinator,

“I’ve had many sessions with her for deep healing & cleansing, and I can honestly say I would never have anyone else. If only we’d met years ago! Thank you so much for your true beauty, kindness, love, and safe-space holding. - and your beautiful voice and energy. I have felt progressively more in tune and aligned with my health and mental state since working together.”
