The Ayllu Foundation
A non-profit initiative providing opportunities
in service of Sacred Reciprocity.
Pronounced “i-you,” “Ayllu” means ‘family’ or ‘community’ in Quechua, the language of the indigenous peoples of the Andes Mountain region of South America.
The Ayllu Foundation is an idea, a vision, and a heart-centered project currently in process to come to life in support of Western and Indigenous Reciprocity.
Our Roots:
The foundation of our foundation.
Like the roots of a tree, our values anchor us, keeping us straight and stable, helping us to grow, development, and repair.
We Value:
Safety | Trust | Respect | Reciprocity | Humility | Integrity | Authenticity
In the people, communities and natural plant medicines we work with.
We hold these values within all operations of our organization.
In seeing the world constantly in such conflict against ourselves and the Earth, we prioritize providing opportunities to heal and balance mental and physical well-being with holistic health, nutrition and natural medicines.
We believe that in order for us to live in Harmony with the Earth, we must first live in harmony with ourselves.
We also prioritize environmental conservation and take pride in Carbon Off-setting the flights of participants to get to the retreats and experiences we support abroad.
We also aim to build bridges between indigenous wisdom, tradition healing, and western accessibility / technology. We are supporting indigenous communities in the Peruvian Amazon in raising funds to bring basic human rights such as rainwater collection and filtration systems to their communities to improve the quality of the water they have access to.
Circularity of Funds
We believe in there is a powerful energy behind money, and it can be used to create absolute magic with future-positive benefits for both humanity and the Earth. We are here to help to each other rise, to cheerlead each other and to lift each other onto our own pedestal of potential to shine.
The Ayllu Foundation is being established to support people who may otherwise be unable to afford experiencing the healing potential of sacred plant medicines.
While the Ayllu Foundation is currently en route to becoming a non-profit organization and future donations will be tax-deductable, we are just at the beginning stages of what this looks like in the future. Right now, 10% of each booking for our retreats goes to supporting the Metamorphosis Scholarship, and the fund supports the rest, as well as carbon-offsetting for travel to our retreat locations.
It is based on the belief that those who feel called may have the opportunity to heal and ignite their lives through sacred plant medicines.
The Ayllu Scholarship Program, Metamorphosis, holds and administers funds to pay for scholarship recipients. The Scholarship Program supports Guests who do not have the full financial means to attend.
It is funded by our reciprocity initiatives and the donations of those who share this belief.
The Metamorphosis Scholarship offers partial and full scholarships to attend a retreat with the medicine family that we work with..
